Doughnuts: For 4 year-old

In our Pre-Kindergarten Program, children are free to choose from a variety of both teacher-directed and child-directed projects including dramatic play, numeric development, language and literacy activities, and science investigation, art projects, block building and active outdoor exploration. Children's self-directed play and exploration of materials is a most valued component of the program, as it allows for cooperative social interaction and supports children's construction of knowledge about the world. Children meet in both large and small groups during each class session to foster a sense of community among the members of the class, to share common experiences, stories and songs, as they learn to function as a responsible member of a group.
